For starters, I begin to think of making my own character how he or she look. I sketched out a rough idea of his facial appearance by his personality which, to me seems neural. I wanted him to be a typical stereotype farmer I had encounter during my time at Wapakoneta Ohio. The people always made me laugh and told tall-tales that pulls you in as a family (A good friend to have a drink with :P). Next, I wanted to make him have human features to a cross breed of a large squirrel.
Lucky for me, a neighbor setup a bird feeder that a local gray squirrel happen to be hunting for food. "That's it" Hunter Nutty the squirrel is a good name for my character. So his eyes have to be outline of two different tones to gray and white. The eyes I wanted to be inviting yet cute to make you say "Aww"as his lips are smirk with a sense of humor. The ears had to be larger than a human but animal aspect goes, so I made them a fox or a gerbil. After I made the final touches on hunter, I tried different hairs styles. which, I didn't like so a hat was to my liking, as I started on his hands.
I drew my right hand to get a idea of how causal to make it be but needed to be monstrous size. I roughly made tube fingers to look realistic. Then erased the unwanted stroke leaving the image. The fingernails needs to be longer for claws. My thoughts were a razor was similar to an animal. I wanted different poses as a range of different template I might used. I was satisfied and continue to make the body of hunter.
The body had to be seven feet tall the side of a super hero. Hunter body had to be strong to give the weight of a abnormal size. I did a few sketches giving the amount fur making cartoonist of him but, tried adding texture of hair. It didn't look right so, I kept cartoonist style. I wanted Hunter to be a farmer to remind me of Wapak I drew him resting his hand on a rack looking at me. It give me the feeling he was ground to earth with a lay back attitude. I did a few other sketches of poses by adding more of hunter personality which seem fine.
Now the second phase was creating hunters environment as I have only two designs. One was near the ocean with giant acorn houses with wildlife. The other idea was in the mountain with small platforms connect one to another. I choice the mountains which, I enjoy a good view if you don't fall. I've decide to used Photoshop app I knew the basic but, wanted to improve my knowledge in creating.
I begin using my rough sketch landscape as a template to organized my setup. Then started with a paint brush, mapping the entire landscape and blending each color of the layout. Adding vector shapes over the smokey background, this gave the of three dimensional space. Continuing making layers by the effect box I adding texture on the given road, guardrail, buildings and mountain to be realistic. I played around with the opacity to blend into the vector shapes together and made a duplicated. It add the illusion of clouds around, since it up in the mountains.

It looked good for an abstract design that I enjoy. Finally, I need to create Hunter in the picture since, he going to block the middle of the landscape. I simply did the same setup with the landscape and just started with the dark colors first. By adding another layer on top it started to form a cartoon. Placing vector shape gave Hunter's facial and body life. I don't know what else to do so I added some smokey clouds a sun and called it a day.
My last thoughts was anyone can create something just by looking online copy someone else idea, but they need to give credit for the person for it. I could sharpen the vector shape if I had it in Adobe Illustrator which really pop out. This design I wanted to focus just on Photoshop without any other apps. Maybe later down the line I give hunter a makeover in Blender apps I've hear about.
