After Completing 3D model 360 football, my professor gave another project. As of right now, I need to have five ideas. The ideas I've had in mind are the following: Bionic Eye medical implant, smart glasses with voice command blue tooth, Universal pocket band and clip, organizer key-chain with a GPS and a quarter dependence with a lever simulator to a vending machine but portable.
I've choice the UPB (Universal Pocket Band) with buckle clip. This prototype is a harness of nylon straps, wraps around a person waist as a fanny-pouch. Then a second strap supporting the shoulder will connect from the back to the front. Each connect strap will have a buckle clip will connect the same clipper image below. The front will have pocket-protector to hold all common hand tools.
Here's what it would look like wearing UPB project. Model Bob seem not to mind.
Universal buckle model
I finish the universal clip, as I've head over to OSU 3D printshop. The staff used a program called Cura. It prints all the layers section by section until its a whole. The problem was the body wasn't showing up. Lucky for me the connector was fine, but I still have another problem. After four hours of waiting, the piece wasn't hollow out. I went back to create layers by bevel tool on Cinema 4D. I chance the whole model after both pieces didn't print well. the arms broke off too easy an the middle piece was not clipping right.
I was getting annoyed while my deadline draws near. Andrew mention, I should find a replica of the model and print it. He mention a thingiverse.com was a free 3D print model anyone can use. I looked for a similar and found one. Then I print again but, found out the same thing happen again. It was solid where the clip needed to go. Lucky Andrew did some changes of the layout and added "the right way" for the clip to function. Next was to get the fanny pack supporter strap to sew the new clip on.

The clipper and holder from good to bad.
After the fourth print it was successful! I was excited. This time the clip holder had to be smooth out of the inner chamber. Next was to cut out the stitches from the previous clip supporters. I begin to sew the new universal clip by hand. After making a backstitch with a cross pattern it hold in place. Checking out the result looked fine, as I cut a nylon strips to form on the other connectors. I did a double stitch to bind the straps to the fanny pack belt. As the result, it puts restrain on the shoulder and the belt pulls upward.
