During a long summer, I start another semester in Art new media. I will begin to learning robotics. This project is taking kiss method (Keep It Stupid Simple) of four idea I will construct. The first idea a portable translator that, can speak out a user native language to a foreign language. The device will be around the user neck which, senses the voice vibration to the select language, as a example English will speak out to Spanish.
The device has to be comfortable, lightweight. The front of the device will have a few button to scroll up and down to a select language. I also want to have a data clip that can interact with a USB port upload more languages over time. Which is can download more languages.

The second project is call "Thinking Cap" is wearing a helmet reads brain wave activity. Having a WiFi antenna or a pressure plate on the helmet by thinking the word off or on to turn a light bulb. The helmet itself will be bulky and powered by a battery. The question I have to figure is a way to monitor my brain activity. Then channel its thoughts so a WiFi antenna will transmute on a circuit station turning on a bulb.
The third project creating a laser knife as a household utility that is safe. It will cut only solid object like butter, without any force on the user wrist. The handle will extend out to cut larger food products. To keep the extension steady will have a locking switch to hold in place. The top will have measurements to help cut accurately. As for the power sources will have a battery inside the handle. Final project is a bionic eye that will track moving when someone passes by. It will place on a high shelf moving left to right.
it will be constructed into a pulley system as a object move left to right.

Still in the making of the idea on project "Thinking Cap" which, I started my first RGB Led light bulb.

My professor shown a website that is similar to my idea. Wavelet Spaghetti, a project call Beanie Turns Brainwaves into lights. Her idea is taking EGG TGAM chip that can read you brain weaves and channel it to a RGB light. My project is a separate light as a 50w light bulb that will be connect to a breadboard from a arduous CPU. I have a general idea of creating from her setup but I will have to try to see how it turn out.
I made a 3d model of what my project is going to look like. Instead of wearing a cloth I will a batters helmet which, should give a steady hold on the user.

By thinking of two stages from relation to upset thought should be able to turn on to off.
As of right now, I have to wait for my EGG TGAM chip over sea. It wont arrive Oct 21 this year. So instead I have to make a light-able helmet by a two or three interesting color waves. After my semester is over I will continue to create my main point. This idea is making RGB light strip of six mounted on the helmet. Taking colors were to act a waves of one color changes to another seen below.
By trail an error I manage to find the solution in my programing. FIRST you must code the model number in the ardiuno software family that is common. Next by define your pin output with the Din (data input) wire will send the program to each LED. Making sure they have five volts, ground wire are connected correctly.

After soldering for the first time I managed to take the arduino, shield and mounted on the helmet. Next I will make cable wire to look like dreadlocks. This will be a creative style, similar to cyberpunk. Then, I will hot-melt each strip on the helmet to simulate fake hair. My main of this project is to show how lifestyle in a cyberpunk world look like. They are poor and they scrap any junk parts making hacking device. The RGB LED lights on the helmet are on youtube to show how it works.

The day has finally come the Neurosky EGG chip arrived. In Wavelet Spaghetti setup I'm, going to use her layout on the brain reading to read my brain waves. I have soldered three wires on Neurosky REF. Next re-solder 2 way switch break-off to turn on or off the circuit, Connect the battery with the charger and used rubber cement to stick on the hat.
I made copper plate rap around with foil by using copper tape. Then used foam with conductive fabric to make a stronger read. After I've soldered, heat shrink the bare wires of the other electro devices I have to connect my adapter to the Ardiuno. I try to upload the files on Wavelet website and did not get a signal. The Ardiuno software mention the Neopixels wasn't connect. I decided to remove the code and still wouldn't want to upload. I went online to research to find any other code would work but, no results.
I have spent hours trail an error and my last thought is that Wavelet, must have bought the flex headset with the Neurosky with all the devices, as I have to manually install them.
